Marco Teixeira is the mind behind the Elektrik Boy Psytrance project. He soon felt a "strange" affection for this style, not only because of its sounds but also for the math represented in music.
By the age of sixteen he and a friend founded his first band, Crossover. After that he played in several gigs and joined some other bands, as rythm/lead guitar and bass. Later on, when the first PCs started to appear, he bought his first computer, a 486 processor, and began playing with some midi sequencer programs. He decided it was time move on and try something new, so he founded the DiF_Fusion project and plummet into the world of electronic music. Soon he produced his first track, a drum'n'bass song, featuring live guitar, which was reviewed with success by the well-known Future Music Magazine.
