Intervieuw J.tigerstrom & Ruk
In the days releases Dansant Uppsala, J Tigerström feat Ruk their first full length album "Frenzy". UNT has talked to one group member John Tigerström. How would you define your music? I would probably describe it as electronic with a dark undertone, and quite melodic buildup. What did the two of you to work together? We actually have two roots in quite different genres. Ruk, ie Peter Holgersson, has played in rock bands before, while I myself always listened to electronic music as Alice DeeJay and Cosmic Gate, and even produced his own music before. We are work colleagues, and when one day I was playing one of my songs for Peter, he was immediately interested. We did a song together that was picked up by a Dutch record label P.L.U.R., and the way it is. You have done a tribute to Almtuna IS.Tell us! Both Peter and I are very interested in sport, and when it broke down for the team last winter, we wanted to show our support through a song. It was played a lot of matches. What are the plans going forward? We already have three new songs at once. And so we hope to get out and play in clubs.
